Served in a Pilsner glass at the brewery in New Orleans. This is a fairly good representation of the Marzen style. Thick, rapidly diminishing head. Toasted malts on the nose and the taste follows. Nice malt character.

The Crescent City O-fest was served in a large pilsner style glass. The beer is copper with a small and quickly disappearing beige head.
Caramel malts and toffee on the nose. Nice, would like it amped up a notch.
Taste is slightly sweet and toasty. Grainy with a bit of fruit mid-glass. It is a more than respectable stab at the style.
Mouth is decent but the beer needs a bit more carbonation.
All-in-all, a worthy beer.
