As with all of Crescent's beers I tried, there was really no head. This beer looks muddy--light brown and cloudy.
The aroma is sugary, similar to molasses.
This is an interesting bock in that it is not coyingly sweet. I'd describe it as a spicy-sweet. It is more multi-dimensional than most bocks I've had. The only negative is that it has a thin body.
Big points for the complexity--an easy drinking bock.
