A dark, full-bodied, smooth beer, similar to the famous Anchor Porter of San Fransisco. Made with a blend of 5 different kinds of malted barley and both Perle hops and Cascade hops.

A - Poured out a jet-black color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left some sudsy lace on the glass.
S - It smelled chocolate and toffee. Some maltiness.
T - There is a slightly acidic sourness - seems like an accident or infection. Nice chocolate, caramel and toffee flavors are present with a subtle bitter bite.
M - It was crisp, sharp and smooth. A light bodied ale with a dry finish.
O - This could be really good but I think they have an infected yeast strain.

A-Deep, dark brown with lighter highlights. Thin light tan head reduced to leave spotty lace.
S-Light roasty nose and a bit of spicy hops coming through.
T-Decent roast with a light hop supporting bitterness. Mild hints of chocolate and coffee.
M-Medium body with a smoothness that makes this light roasted brew very easy to quaff.
D-A good, "light" bodied beer with nice smoothness and mild hop bite makes this go down easy. A one step up brew pub version of Yuengling Porter.
