A) Clear cola color/Ice Tea. A burnt red ale appearance
S) Smooth, sweet and sour mash. Some citrus and spice shines through
T) Sweet, raisons, rye bread. Hoppy surprise.
M) Light and tingly -- ale with ample carbonation. Has a better than average feel, whatever that means
D) Well, beats a Bud....

Bottle: Poured a light clear brown color ale with a huge off-white foamy head with good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of caramel malt is lightly sweet. Taste is mostly dominated by some lightly sweet caramel malt with some light notes of some weird ester some chemical or infected. Body is about average with some great carbonation. I have not had a beer from this brewery in years and this definitely better then expected but still not totally great.

It's all head. Seriously. My first (fairly careful) pour filled the glass with five inches of almost white foam with no beer. Lots of caverns but no beer. A frustrating wait reveals a hazy, amber-gold-orangey-brownish beer with tons of carbonation and whitish sediment. Huge Utah desert arches of thick lacing. The nose is spicy, waxy, fruity and soapy with a little savory. The head tastes like sour apples. Apples also dominate the sweetish front. The middle is fizzy, tangy with a touch of caramel underneath. It finishes nutty, tangy-bitter with a little alcohol kick. This is an interesting, very fruity, grainsy, fizzy beer. Probably not everyone's cuppa, but it's a decent drink. I find myself enjoying it.
