Smells malty and very citus like.
Appearance is a shy dark yellow, nothing spectacular.
Taste is very sour, citrus. fruity and reminding me of champagne or a sparkling wine than a beer, also reminds me of a very sour white. Unfortunately many beers from "Les freres houblon" turns out bad in bottle, this one I cannot say, it doesnt come near the style at all.
wonder???

(Name is "Bière à l'Ancienne", not "Bières à L'ancienne")
Small, white, bubbly head. Hazy, dirty dark-banana beer. Runny spots of lacing. Smell is spoonky with a little citrus fruit, a little spice and soap. Tangy apple front; flattish, fruity middle; nice bitter finish with tangy fruit and some burnt crackers. Not bad. I wonder if the bottle is a little off... rumor has it Les Frères have had some quality issues in their freshman year.
