The colour is a dark amber/ reddish brown. From the look I would say it is unfiltered (it is very cloudy). The smell is sweet, of malt mostly; perhaps a bit of ‘woodiness’ to it. The carbonation is good. The head did not stay on the beer for very long, and little to no lacing. The taste is of a standard scotch ale. No real surprises. Not sad I bought it, but would not get it again.

Tasted on March 6th, 2009.
Pours as a dark amber beer with some hazyness.
Smell: The beer has a smell I can't describe easily... smoke?! possibly but not sure.
Taste: Some metallic taste... the beer is bitter-sweet. Not bad, however not excellent too. Average.
Drinkability... one is enough for me.

Brown 500ml botlle.
A: dark copper ale almost red-brown.
S: caramel, some malt.
T: taste as a scotch ale must taste (bizzare for this below-average brewer), caramel, some dyacetyl, sweet.
M: a bit thin fot the style
D: very drinkable, surprising. probably the best product by this brewer.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy brown color ale with a big foamy head with good retention. Aroma of sweet malt with a subtle sour notes is quite intriguing. Taste is a weird mix between some sweet malt, candi sugar and some light sour notes and it work better then I expected it to be. Yeast is also present and provides a nice finish. Body is full and very lightly filtrated with no alcohol discernable. Definitely the best beer I had from this brewery.
