Poured into a pint glass from a 500mL bottle.
A: Amber brown, one finger of flat head, good retention, no lacing, almost opaque, bubbles can be seen if held up to direct light. This appearance looks quite appealing, very nice color.
S: Candied fruits, plums, strawberry, wine, nice sweet smell.
T: Candied fruits, yeast, strawberry licorice, warming alcohol, slight bitter finish. I like this, the taste isn't a sweet as these tastes might suggest. I think it might be the bitter finish. As this beer warms, the alcohol is more noticeable, and it's a little harsh.
F: Dry finish, full body, crisp and heavy carbonation
O: This is a good beer, I would buy this again. Not overly sweet, but the candied fruits represent the Christmas theme well. I think this would be good with some dark fruit pie (blackberry, raspberry, etc).

Bottle: Poured a dark cloudy brown color ale with a large light brown foamy head with good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of candi sugar and light dry fruit with some light warming alcohol notes. Taste is also dominated by candi sugar with some subtle dry fruits with some light phenol alcohol notes. Body is quite full with good carbonation. Not as bad as their other Noel beer but still way too strong on the alcohol.
