L- Bottle conditioned. It was pouring clear but then resting the bottle to let the head in the glass recede stirred up some sediment in the rest of the pour. So now the quite deep amber has some lumps floating about in it, plus a 1Cm just off-white head.
S- Quite mild for me I just get some graininess, unusual for a Tripel.
T- Quite bright for a Triple, the added juniper is probably why.
F- IME 7% is quite light for a Triple/Tripel and then the juniper seems to make it brighter and more refreshing. All in it's something quite different from the Belgian monastics.
O- It's not doing a lot for me. Interesting to try but not one I'd buy again. I'm honestly shocked that the lable has the logo for the 'World Beer Awards 2014 - Europe Gold' as it's a pleasant beer, but I don't register anything really special about it, never mind award winning.
Bought from Nicolas (wines), London W11. 330ml bottle £3.60. BB: 31/01/21/

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
