Bellerose, a unique taste that entertains no indifference. The combination of three hops produces its distinguished elegance. Our Black IPA surprises with its tasty notes of biscuits and red fruits, thanks to the union of roasted malts with a generous dry-hopping.

Copenhagen 2/10 2018. 33 cl bottle from Den Gamle KĂžbmand. Drawing of Tattooed Black lady on the label. 1970-ties Vibe.
Pours light brown with red hue and big, bubbly, off-white head. Settles as 1 cm thick layer of creamy foam. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is sweet, fruity and roasted. Sweet roasted dark malts. Nail polish. Unripe berries, tart fruit and hints of citrus and lemon.
Medium strong carbonation. Soft yet lively and lightly prickly texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a lighter sweet undercurrent. Semi-dry finish.
Decent Black IPA which balanced the roasted malts with the bitterness. Hides the ABV pretty well - but could be more adventurous when it comes to the hop-profile.
