Dark brown opaque body with a long-lasting tan head that creams out on the top. 1cm cream never disappears. Smell is weird I guess, pungent notes figs and sweet red wine, thick and promising.
Taste follows the smell, largely of figs. A little bit sweet and fruity, which got me thinking of grape soda. Sweet and clean in the fore, becoming thick and smooth towards the finish after the initial carbonation. Some mild earth hop notes in the aftertaste. Alcohol covered right up.
Somewhat refreshing as the bizarre taste isn't TOO overwhelming, but I wouldn't need another in the same sitting probably.
