Crystal clear golden colour with a small white head. Good head retention and nice lacing.
Mild diacetyl which is acceptable for style and light spicy hops. Not a lot going on but it is okay.
Smooth clean pilsner malt flavour with a light spicy hop note and moderate bitterness. Light diacetyl.
Medium body with moderatly-high carbonation. Slightly astringent.
A decent Czech pilsner with a nice, crisp bitterness. Quite drinkable.

A: Clean, clear pilsenery look, lots of carbonation running up to a white and bubbly head, head could hang around longer for my liking.
N: Not complex, but clean and slightly grassy.
T: Grassy notes but also a slight meadow sweetness matched with a mild astringency totally appropriate to the style.
M: Thin enough to be highly drinkable but also love dryness of the back palate - refreshing.
Very good effort - this beer has won an award and deservedly so.

Pours a clear pale amber colour with furious carbonation feeding a medium white head, great retention of small dense bubbles. Looks like a good pilsener.
Smell is pleasantly fruity with nice crisp apple and some peach notes, hops are dominant, adding a slight metallic edge and some resinous notes. Pleasantly crisp and quite fresh.
Taste is mostly grainy with a fair amount of barley malt plus some cereal grain/puffed rice aspects. Slight metallic bitterness starts on the mid but not too strong, and a slight POR grit on the back, but again, not too strong. Finish is not exactly clean; has some bitterness to it that is slightly medicinal but it's not overwhelming.
Bit of bubbly sizzle; a little bit harsh for the most part. Not bad for style but definitely a tad rough around the edges.
A decent thirst quencher, made well and a decent drop in the ocean of swill that the Oz beer market can be at times.

A - Clear medium golden colour with 2cm white head that falls fairly fast.
S - Subtle pale malt aroma with a nice herbal, slightly floral hop character.
T - Grainy pale malt sweetness balanced by a genourous herbal hoppiness.
M - Fairly light bodied, high carbonation. Good bitterness.
D - A very nice Australian brewed Pilsner.

Consumed on-premises in Markets Hotel, among the truckies & market workers (and lingerie-clad waitresses).
a) Pale gold, good lace but a quick-to-drop draught head.
s) Grassy at first, spicy hop nose, straw-like. Warms to a faintly familiar (semillon?) fruitiness.
f) Firm hop profile, excellent Bohemian style. Almost a subtle citrus (orange) note, without being all cascadey... Excellent bitterness
m) Light & crisp, balancing the bitterness well.
d) Very drinkable.... has a lot of character that warrants pondering, but is also worthy of a session, or with dinner.

(tap-Brissy festival of beers) well, a little on the thin side to tell you the truth. Hazy appearance, mimimal hops in both aroma and flavour, lagery malts, simple and light, but fairly innofensive, just a bit boring. Re-rate: much better at the brewpub, more saaz and bitterness, better.
