The aroma initially expresses raisins and chocolate, followed by plum, alcohol, and toffee-like malt. The body is a little hazy and medium orange-brown in hue; the head is off-white. The flavor is fairly malty with bread and toffee; there is some fruitiness perhaps reminiscent of dried apricots; it's a tad boozy with moderate resiny and floral bitterness. It's medium-light in body with light carbonation and bite.
Not bad overall. The flavors and aromas seems to be in the right ballpark but stop short of being all-around excellent. The alcohol in the aroma and flavor could be better integrated.

Deep gold. Bit dipper color as a Pale Ale. Fine head. Malty aroma is dominant. A little bit diacetyl or lactic acid like aroma. Hop aroma is weak. Good balance of caramel malt and hop flavor but finish is astringent. Medium body, a little bit high carbonation. They use Cascade hop but the style is closer to English Pale Ale.
