Pours dark mahogany looking near black in the glass, with a thin head, most of which soon disappears.
Feel: Full body and nicely smooth; low but adequate carbonation.
Aroma: sweet and fruity, with hints of raisins and cherries. Dark roasted malts in the background. Somehow, much less pleasant than this sounds.
Flavor: Sweet and fruity but better than the aroma. Still rather boozy, with a suggestion of bourbon or brandy in the finish and aftertaste. Like the aroma, something is off here.
Feel: Near medium body and nicely smooth; low but adequate carbonation.
O: a boozy, sweet porter.
