A strong Belgian pale ale based on a Saison this should be right up my alley anyway the brew pours a very light see through amber hue with decent carbonation that leaves behind a two finger head that quickly settles down to a half finger layer of frothy islands and a rim of clingy lacing, the smell is boozy alcohol, wheatgrass, cereal and spicy hops,it has a light-medium bodied averagely carbonated mouthfeel and has tastes of candied boozy pears, lemongrass, orange peel and finished with a spicy, herbal hoppy dryness that isnt bitter at all and overall abit of a let down for me and wouldnt buy it again as there is better out there.

Pours amber with a large lasting head.
Nose is overwhelmingly herbal at first, coriander or something. Some doughy wheat shows along with soft fruits: orange, peach, somewhat confectionery-like. Pretty weird.
More doughy wheat shows as a flavour, also similar fruit and that bold herbal note. Finishes with a somewhat unpleasant boozy finish.
Carbonation is pretty high.

Fairly clear golden colour with a small off-white head. Poor head retention.

Very sweet, malty aroma with light coriander and citrus notes. The aroma is a touch grainy and doesn't seem quite right for a Belgian style. I wonder what malt they are using here.

The flavour is again sweet with some nice yeast phenols and a fruity, citrus note. There is a lot of sugar though with the malt flavours not quite tasting right.

Medium body with moderate carbonation. Fine.

A fair attempt at a strong Belgian ale with saison type notes. For me this should be drier and use a more authentic malt but on the whole, it's a decent beer.
