Pours amber with a small head.
Nose shows caramel and spicy resinous hops. Pretty malty, almost melanoidin-like.
Similar malty flavours, more caramel and nutty characters. Finishes with a plain bitterness.
Pretty syrupy, thick body, a bit off-putting.

Nectar gold with a clumpy creamy white head that fades to film and leaves webs of lace. Musty lemon, melon and mango nose with buttermilk biscuit and a touch of sour grain underneath.
Honeycomb crunch cookies and golden syrup up front with honeydew, kiwi and white grape juice hops.
Syrupy finish and a bitter honey linger. Medium towards full, chewy, sticky.
Good showcase of Nelson Sauvin. Maybe a bit cloying, though. A hearty sipper.
