500 ML poured into a tulip

A-- Poured a light cola color and settled a near jet black color. Good amount of ruby showing when held to light. One finger light brown head that quickly disappeared to film and a good collar. Got two fingers of head on swirling but still disappeared pretty quickly. No traces of lacing but a bit of ABV legs.

S-- Light roast, sweet milk chocolate, and carmel. Soft nose but a good nose for what it is.

T-- Thin taste, quite watery. There is sweet chocolate, vanilla, carmel, and some lactose. Needs more roast to carry this.

M-- Mouthfeel is much better. Bordering on flavored milk. Dairy milk smooth and light carbonation. Pretty obvious that this will be light bodied. Roast picks up more in the mouth but this is still watery.

O-- Not entirely bad, not entirely great either. Would consider buying another in a pinch but there are better options out there

This beer pours a jet black colour that is averagely carbonated and leaves a beautiful two finger cappicino laced head that stays,it has aromas of milky coffee and a little similar to a watery guniness it has an average mouthfeel and leaves you with tastes of milky coffee, roasted malts and has a pleasant finish with no sign of bitterness/hops or alcohol, not bad but have seen better.

A - Pours a dark brown with a couple of centimetres of light beige head that falls away fairly quick.
S - Some milk chocolate sweetness. A bit of a savoury and vegetal aroma too.
T - Also chocolate in the taste, some vauge floral hops and again the vegetal character.
M - Medium bodied, minimal carbonation.
D - I wouldn't bother buying this again and I wouldn't recommend it. Sure, it's not terrible & I'd drink this over any macro but it's pretty lacking in character and the savoury/vegetal character ain't nice.

Dux Lux lists this as a Strong Sweet Stout. A fair assessment.

Appearance- Black as night. Limited Head that is white and laces the glass nicely as the night progresses.

Smell- Sourness of hops with clears into massive roasted malt notes

Taste And Mouthfeel-
Slight note of the ABV, a sweet cocoa powder flavor with
overwhelming roasted malt notes. There is a strong bitterness (almost sour)that seems derived from hop pellets. It as decent flavor that only denotes a strong bitterness. It has a medium body when compared with other stouts.

Drinkability-
Think a tame mild/sweet Russian Stout.

Pours dark but not quit opaque black with a nice two finger tan head that goes away quickly but leaves some pretty good lacing. Nose of light roasted malts and hazelnut coffee that unfortunately doesn't carry over into the taste. Butterscotch/diacetyl sweetness reduces roasted malt profile and completely eliminates any coffee flavors that might be hiding somewhere. Too bad.
