Appearance- A clear red amber body, nice head w/ decent retention. There is moderate visible carbonation.
Smell- A lot of Sweet/bitter malt, and a moderate amount of piney/herbal hops. It doesn't smell like a typical weak lager to me, which is a pleasant surprise.
Taste/Mouthfeel- Full body with light carbonation. Malt driven start with a rapidly fading hops finish.
Drinkability-Really good, because its complex and easy drinking. The low ABV only helps, one of the best NZ lagers I have had.
