Brasserie de Saint-Omer "Royal Club 7.0"
50 cl can, coded "26/05/2019 L18/055 22:55"
.93€ @ Leader Price, 43 Rue Cler, Paris, FR
Notes via stream of consciousness: Fingerprint-through-the-glass clarity in a deep gold body beneath a short head of white foam. The aroma is clean, but limited to a basic malt and background herbal hops. The flavor suggests that there's adjunct in use... let me check the label... yes, it lists corn, which is not that bad. It's got a median bitterness, and the herbal character found in the aroma remains. Some minor alcohol comes through as well, and although there is a drop of sweetness that lingers into the aftertaste it's mainly a dry finish. Medium in body and crisp. Looking back the head fell rather quickly and the lacing was only average. Overall it's not a bad strong Euro lager, but at the same time it's nothing exciting.
