Copenhagen 18/3 2020. 33 cl bottle brought home from Spain by my in-laws. Drawing of old castle on the label and Grand Cru written in letters reminiscent of heavy metal in the seventies. Best before December 2019.
Pours unclear golden amber with a small white head. Settles as thin, flimsy layer unable to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense, very sweet - almost sugary - with a touch of wood and glue. Sugar, honey, syrup. Toffee and caramel. Oak with a weird chemical touch. Alcohol.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense and has a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong, sourish bitterness. Aftertaste has a more prominent bitterness with a sweet undercurrent. Light boozy and chemical tang in the finish.
Not too bad for a beer produced for a Spanish supermarket chain.

De Mercadona. En copa Teku. Jugando a Hollow Knight. Bastante decente para una tripel de marca blanca de supermercado. Tiene el perfil tipico del estilo, sin sobresalir ni para bien o para mal
