Copenhagen 6/6 2023. 44 cl can from Netto, Lygten, Kbh. NV. Light blue can with a sketchy drawing of a French village
Pours unclear pale yellow with a big white head. Stable. Settles as thick uneven layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet and fruity odor on the verge of being sugary. Light citric notes. Sweet orange, white sugar, honey. Thin scent of citrus.
Light carbonation. Thin, watery, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is moderately intense with medium strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong sourness. Lingers shortly. Finish is sweetish and watery.
Saint-Omer writes on the can that they are “France’s No. 1 Independent Brewery”. That makes me seriously worried about No. 2 and 3.
