Copenhagen 17/5 2026. 44 cl can from Netto, Tomsgårdsvej, Kbh. NV. Can in Omer's usual 1866-design. This time in light green.
Pours clean golden yellow - almost amber - with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as a paper thin, almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a sourish citric scent. Sweet pale malts and caramel. Hint of butter. Lemon.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while, Finish is dry.
Run of the mill - but with a redeeming bitter bite in the aftertaste.
