Poured into a nonic pint glass, the appearance was a mostly black color with a fairly quick dissipating foamy to bubbly sort of white head. Mild lacing. The aroma leaned towards a mild bitter to earthy hoppiness flowing on into some roasty and slightly spicy tones with a nice caramel malt flow into a light milk chocolate. The flavor tried to blend between the sweet and the spicy with a great balancing milk chocolate to sly cinnamon sort of spice. Sly roasty to spicy to semi-sweet sort of finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionable to semi-sipping sort of ability about it. Mild carbonation felt fine. Mild ABV, still seemed fine for the most part. Overall, interesting take on a porter, I think I could come back to this.
