On tap at Blackback, though poured into a tulip, I get what’s going on. Here’s the rest. The appearance was a muddled burnt yellow almost orange color with a ringy little bit of a white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. The aroma starts off with the normal qualities of a MHL with a nice sweet touch of smoked malts, somewhat meaty-like, real nice. The flavor takes the smoke sweet messiness to combine nicely with a sly sweet corn and grassy underneath. Smoky sweet to grassy clean sweet aftertaste with finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a fantastic sessionability about it. Carbonation rides fairly light to make this easy drinking, crushable. Overall, really nice way to reinvent the style by Zero Gravity. Definitely, would be a revisit.

From a growler picked up in Vermont. Sampled on August 17, 2014.
It pours a reasonably clear pale yellow with a white fizzy head that settles down slowly.
The aroma has some nice esters going on including toasted malts, smoke, a thin apricot or pear fruitiness, and a mild hop bite.
Medium body.
The taste has much of the same sensations as the aroma but there is a roaring bitterness that explodes on the palate at the finish.
