these guys make awesome beer and even better food, so its always a treat to go in. this gose is a new one for them, real light on the coriander, but very tart, almost more like a berliner than anything else. golden and light with a chill haze and a half inch of off white bubbles. not overly impressed with its appearance from the tap here, but the nose covers for it. earthy and mineral laden, likely from the salt, and some pale wheat as a base malt, and obvious lacto presence. the flavor is tart all the way through, but never quite acidic or sour, and the salt is all in the finish, dying out an already dry beer. coriander is minimal here which is a niche change of pace for an american version of gose, just slightly herbal and spicy, not overdone or lingering. body is really light here, and carbonation is up even though the head doesnt show it. super sessionable and refreshing, and a well executed example of the style overall.
