I was really impressed with the two German style offerings I had...this one didn't seem to be in their league, but was still decent. Standard amber Ipa color. Some faint cloudiness. Creamy thin white head. There was some candied hoppiness, some pineyness as well in the aroma. Tastewise, the brew seemed a tiny bit sweet. Finishes with some citrus and pineapple hop notes.

Appears a light amber with a 2 finger frothy white head that doesn't drop. Steady streams of carbonation and solid film of lacing left behind.
Smell is of hoppy citrus with a touch of pine and sweet malt.
Taste is of sugary sweet malts with a great hop blast of grapefruit and pine. Finishes great. Bitter without a hop burn and lots of sugary malt.
Mouthfeel is creamy with a sugary bitterness that covers the palate and lingers with a nice grapefruit smack.
Drinkability is really nice. Smooth brew that goes down easy.
Finger licking good.

Appearance: Copper/orange, good head resistance.
Smell: My first whiff was strawberry sweet, something I absolutely adore, but alas, like chasing the dragon, after my second inhale it was gone. It was however replaced by fresh, green, piney hops, that really screamed out "Vermont".
Taste: Crisp and bitter, the malt profile started to assert itself after the third or forth sip. A good, classic American IPA that didn't stand too much from the crowd, but well crafted and enjoyable.
