On tap at American Flatbread. Pours a Reddish pink clear body. Smells of hibiscus, wheat, and a bit of estery yeast. Tastes flowery and a little fruity up front. Then starts to taste like peppercorns. Wheat here too. Interesting. Low carbonation. It’s very different, but not really my thing.

First had at Zero Gravity's Pine Street Brewery, Burlington, Vmt., on sample-size draft into snifter as part of $8 Flight of 4. This "Farmhouse Gruit" is a collaboration with Earth Eagle in Portsmouth, New Hampshire (which calls it a "Sour Gruit"), but was "brewed with Hibiscus, Spikenard, and NH foraged Japanese Knotweed." Had to try that!
