This was poured into a mug. The appearance was a dark brown close to black color with a thin white foamy head that dissipated at a decent pace. Stringy lace. The aroma starts off with some robust dry coffee bean, subtle cocoa powder and then some light brininess. The flavor leans to the roasty sweet side. Robust coffee bean. Dry and barely any brine. No aftertaste, sly roasty finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation feels good for the most part. Overall, pretty good effort at an oyster stout by an American brewer.

"A classic Irish Dry Stout brewed with Pemaquid oysters from Damiriscotta, Maine. This black creamy ale showcases roasted malt and flaked barley with a historical twist."
