Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a mild golden yellow color with a sly transparency about it. Carbonation could be seen rising at a moderate pace. Rocky white foamy head displays itself and dissipates appropriately. Mild lace. The aroma shows some sweet sharp citrusy notes over some white and black pepper, Belgian yeasty/bready sweetness glides in for the balance. The flavor brings together all of those previously mentioned aromas together blending sweet with a touch of the spice and the breadiness. Sly bready to spicy aftertaste gliding into the finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionable smooth feel about it. Low carbonation yields to some mild stickiness. Overall, pretty good Belgian ale that I could come back to.
