An exotic beer showcasing tropical notes of citrus, coconut, oak, and vanilla from Loral and experimental hops. The malt backbone is rich and smooth from oats and Vienna malts.

Served on tap at the brewery in a willi becher.
Serves up a a very light amber/deep blonde with very low haziness and one finger of bubbly head.
Aromas are very light, some mellow tropical notes, some light floral notes.
Flavor was very light as well, almost reminded me of lager yeast here. But mellow flavor inline with aroma.
Mouthfeel was really solid.
Overall, this beer should have been more dynamic and hoppy for how excellent the branding is.

i am not generally a huge fan of vienna malt in my pale ale, but in this case, it gives it a nice bit of color, body, and balance against a rather unique and rather tropical hop profile, a neat pale ale, different from most, certainly not whats trendy right now, but very drinkable and good, especially as a late morning or early afternoon pint! short of copper, pale orange in color, and rather cloudy. i get lime and coconut flesh in the nose, a light baked grain element, some oils and some mango too, a bit sweet when i taste it, but all of this is there, lemongrass, kiwi, and even a light noble type hop spiciness, unexpected with the fruitiness here, but it works! lots of body, almost a little too heave for the style and the flavors in this, but this is a bit of a gender bender anyway in terms of style. fuller feeling but nice and bubbly too. the unique mix of hops is what makes this for me, overall another good one from these guys, but definitely not my favorite of their recent hoppy offerings. id love to know more about these experimental hops though...

Great summer beer, but you can truly have it all year around. Love the coconut under tone. Glad they just started making this in a can!

Loral + exp. hops equal some real unique aroma and flavor. There is some coconut in the front and some citrus peel in the background. Nice balance from malt bill which also fills out for a nice full mouthfeel.

Can stamped 11/16/2017.
This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a nice golden yellow to copper color brimmed with a two finger white foamy head that slid off at a fairly decent pace. Some light lace stuck in one ring near the top.
The aroma had a sweet lemon to oaty balance up front and then some grassy hop notes with some sweet wheat and a touch of coconut far on the back end.
The flavor was moderately sweet running through all of the prior mentioned aromas to slide together to bring about a nice bitter hoppy smooth to sweet oaty and lemony aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was almost medium bodied but sat just a touch under with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt nice. ABV felt on par. Nice smooth crisp lemony finish.
Overall, as an APA, it does the trick, nothing that I need to have again before I die, but pretty solid.

Pours a mild golden hue with a thick frothy head into my glass. Citrus upfront with a touch of sweetness from the malt. Floral, crisp with wisps of vanilla and oak char. Slick, almost creamy mouthfeel with lingering oak and vanilla notes. A deliciously complex pale ale that's well worth scoping on your radar.

On-tap at Hellcat Annie’s, New York, NY

A: The beer is slightly hazy dark yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a short white head that quickly died down, leaving only delicate lacing on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of apples and honeydew melons are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of apples and melons. There is only a faint amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied in the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This APA is very fruity but has hardly any bitterness.

Serving type: on-tap

On tap at American Flatbread Burlington. Hazy orange. Smells of tropical fruit and grainy malt. Tastes very tropical. Orange, pineapple, lime. Fascinating. Light sweetness and low bitterness. Medium bodied. The menu says notes of coconut, which I didn't get at first, but now I do. Really interesting hop profile.
