On tap at Blackback Pub in Waterbury, VT.
This one pours a murky purple-ish color, with a small head and a little bit of lacing.
This smells like lightly tart black currant with very little sweetness, along with earthy bitterness, dust, and lemon rind.
The black currant flavor up front is interesting but weird- it’s only light tart, but there’s basically no sweetness to it, and then it drops off completely. There’s a light and super earthy funk, too. This is interesting but I want a bit more oomph.
This is light bodied and very crisp, with a good level of drinkability.
This is solid but not perfect.
