This straw-colored ale is brewed with all German ingredients. It is fermented cold and well-layered, giving it a crispness not often found in ales.

I'm trying this beer at American Flatbread in Burlington, VT. It poured a clear golden with white head that left some lace. The scent had sharp grain and hop notes . The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with grain corn mix start and crisp hop finish. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a solid beer.

Had on tap. Crystal clear golden body, white cap that settles into a beefy collar. Smell and taste are clones: crisp malt with a hint of minerality, bready yeast, lemon peel and flowers, great balance. Feel is clean and decently crisp, easy drinking. Paired great with flatbread

Had a pint with my pizza at the brewpub. It was a great beer to wash down great pizza. It's a fine example of the style, it's only missing piece is the earthy mineral undertone you find in the very best koslchs. Still, there"s a lovely light, toasty barley character with a touch of light fruit. The finish is dry and crisp, I wish I'd have had time for a second.

"Koln-inspired German style golden ale."
Poured into a pint glass.

Pours a cloudy, light golden color with no head with lots of little bubble rising to the top. Citrusy aromas, mostly orange with some malt and grass mixed in. Bitter hops up front leading to a sweet malty middle with crisp orange and bubblegum flavors, finishing lemony dry with a caramel aftertaste. With a medium body & medium carbonation, this is a smooth drinking ale, clean and crisp.
