On tap at the brewpub. Lace follows after a bit grapefruit colour and white crowning head greets you. Good c-hop aroma. Medium mouthfeel, fine for IPA. Above average beer and fine though average IPA. Carbonation is suitable, its not an issue at this pub.

Had this at the Brewpub/restaurant on cask.
Nice copper color, little carbonation, little head. The smell was clean and crisp. Being cask, it started out really creamy. Light sweetness moves into a distinct, but not overpowering piny bitterness. Smoother as the drink progresses. No funky aftertaste, decent alcohol punch (I'm assuming about 6.5%).
Very refreshing and nice after a 7 hr drive to Burlington.

I asked the 'tender here which of this bier and Sim City was hoppier. He was hesitant to pick one, so I just had to try both. The Sim City being drained, I had a fresh pint glass filled with good ol' Captain Ron.
The pint was filled with a clear, medium-copper/golden liquid. Scant carbo meandered topside. Head was a fine, thin layer of white, leaving top-shelf stick on the glass. Aroma suggests a hint of sweetness, along with a touch of florality and grapefruit. Body was a solid medium, maybe medium-plus, and it was velvety over the tongue.
Malt sweetness is evident here despite the plethora of lupulins. (Note: plethora is just a fancy word for a shitload...). Citrus is all over the place here, with some rindy character as well. The sweetness still comes through, lingering in the shadows behind the robust whack of hops. Another winning IPA from Zero Gravity at the Burlington Hearth. Must come back here again sometime. Oh, btw, I'm not sure which bier I'd say was hoppier, either... ;-)
Zum Wohl!!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
