Poured into a pint glass, the appearance was a soft semi-cloudy amber color with a cap of a little white head. Dissipated into oblivion. The aroma had some sweet biscuits, cereal and a light floral to grassy hoppiness. The flavor leaned to the sweet side through the malts. The hops try to balance a soft bitterness to it, but that stays fairly light. Mostly malty smooth aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a good sessionability about it. Mild carbonation. ABV felt appropriate. Overall, nicely done hellerbock that I would have again.

Color: Pours a light reddish-brown color with a one finger head.
Aroma: Rich and malty with the smell of dark fruits and raisin. Smooth.
Taste: Very malty. A bit of grape flavor upfront. Smooth. Not too heavy on anything.
Mouthfeel: Dry with the grape and raisin flavors lingering.
Drinkability: Very drinkable per the style. Doesn't hit you with alcohol like some other bocks.

Poured into a tulip glass.
Pours an orange/gold color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly. Malty & yeasty aromas along with alcohol. Up front caramel and malt flavors followed by mild hops and a smooth, balanced finish. Well carbonated with a silky mouthfeel. You can taste the alcohol yet it goes down real smooth.

Fanciest head of the zero gravities, which disapears in any case as it warms. Light peachy body. A sipper, sourish edge to it that is unexpected. The lineup is so-so and usually does not hit the mark. Neutral aroma.Correct temperature, they get this right.
