Poured from a growler into a pilsner glass.
Poured a nice light straw color with one finger of tiny bubbly head.
Smells rich and malty, very nice aromas for a lager.
Tastes stronger than the usual lager, very welcome. Delicious. Interesting malt bill I would think. Some rye?
Finishes clean, touch of bitterness.
Overall, for the style, I was very much impressed.

On tap poured in a tumbler pint glass.

Pours a light golden color wit a small head that stays around but no lacing. Smell is toasty and a bit hoppy.

Wow, this thing tastes great! Very malty and toasty, just what you'd expect from the style. Very drinkable session beer I could have all night!

2010 batch, on tap poured into a Weiß glass.

Very nice deep amber to caramel color with a very thin light brown head, no lacing. Nose is rich and malty with a sweet finish.

Taste is fantastic, biscuit, malt, dry breadiness, it's crisp and refreshing. There's a nice amount of hops here to make it crisp and bitter but it's not over the top at all.

I look forward to this beer every year, it's always delicious. One of my favorite lager beers!

Poured a cloudy honey color off the tap with an off-white head that receded quickly. Mild lacing. Strange aroma of bready malt with some sour characteristics like a dill pickle (I was as confused as you, dear reader?). Thankfully, the flavors were much better than the aroma. Sweet malts up front with some ripe fruit, caramelized onions, wheat bread and a dry hoppy finish. Medium carbonation and a nice mouthfeel. Despite being Italian it tastes very German; I'll just give it a European brand personally. A grand food beer and sessionable to be sure.

Pours a golden amber color with a head that recedes fast.

Smooth and grainy/bready aroma. A bit sweet as well.

Taste is sweet and bready upfront. Refreshing. A bit chewy with some hop bitterness.

Mouthfeel is dry and bready. Lingering hop bitterness.

A simple and drinkable lager. Perfect for a late summer day. I really think that lagers don't get enough respect and that this is proof that Paul and crew know their stuff

A-Light orange copper with a thin white head.

S-Bready sweetness with a jaunty fruitiness. Very nice and lively aroma for a lager.

T-Fruity, dry and crisp....wow! So much flavour for a Vienna Lager....this is very nice.

M-Medium-light body with a good lingering astringency.

D-Super session lager! This is really nice and a very pleasant surprise. I am not the biggest fan of lagers and when I reach out to try one and it is this good I am glad I don't shun them all!

"Traditional Marzen Beer, well aged."
Poured into a pint glass.

Pours a clear amber color with a one finger white head with great retention that leaves lacing all the way down the glass. Fruity aromas, carmelized malt, green apple, and orange. Sweet malt and tart green apple up front flavors lead to the orange and lemon hops finishing dry with some grapefruit. Medium body, medium carbonation cleanses the mouth early leaving it dry, similar to a seltzer water mouthfeel. Sweet, tart, and hop flavors are all blended nicely creating a high drinkability. The dry, clean finish tempts you to take another sip and order another beer.
