Sampled this one on tap first at the 08' Burlington Brewfest and again at the brewery. This review is a composite of my notes. Poured out a hazy copper color with a khaki head. Good retention and scattered lacing. The aroma was understated, hint of malty sweetness behind spicy and piney hops. The flavors were bigger than the nose suggested, caramel malt and some fig-like notes first followed by the floral and piney hops that cut nicely through to a crisp finish. The body was medium, the carbonation average and the mouthfeel slightly slick. Sessionable and refreshing, a fine example of the style.

Brewed for the 7 Days paper in VT.
Pours a reddish dark-blonde color with a one-finger head. Somewhat cloudy
Spice and raisin in the nose. Very subtle and nearly deceiving aroma..
Hints of raisin and fruits show up front. Smooth and the hop bitterness is present in the middle.
Raisin and spice in the mouthfeel with a decent hop bitterness.
Very drinkable example of the style. It is fresher than some of the other examples I've had.
I recommend trying this while you can
