Pours a nice dark ruby amber color, deep blood red with an off white/light tan head that retains pretty well and leaves ok lacing.
Nose is full of caramel, toffee, and deep sticky sweet malt.
Taste is pretty nice. Alot of deep sugary malt, caramel, and stickiness.

Aged two years and on tap at the pub at their Christmas in July event. Poured a deep, velvety amber with red hues like a backlit garnet. Aromas are astringent, medicinal and overly sweet. Flavors are better, robust and smooth, citric hops, caramel malts, candied nuts as one would find during the holidays. Approaches but shies away (thankfully) from cloying. Light carbonation and finishes with a roasted malt character that becomes apparent as the brew warms. Good, yes, but not truly worth the aging in my opinion
