Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a pale yellow color with a certain sly haziness about it. Small white semi-foamy head with a fair amount of bubbles in them. Weaving bubbly lace around my glass.
The aroma had nuances of oniony/danky hop oils centering around some tropical fruity tones. Sweet grassy/herbal and a light dose of floral hoppiness underneath.
The flavor leaned towards a semi-sticky sweet danky hop oily taste. Semi-dry sticky sweet hop oily aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with an in between sort of ordeal of being sessionable and being a sipper. Good carbonation as an AIPA. Somewhat dry and semi-oily then the finish of sticky bitter danky onion to herbal character.
Overall, it's different but quite good, one I would come back to.

12 oz. can.
Canned 10/17/19.
Moderate to vigorous pour yields a 3/4 inch white head over very slightly hazy, not quite bright, body with some lacing. Nose of slight tropical fruit, citrus, and an earthy/herbal/floral thing going on as well. Taste is citrus and the earthy/herbal/floral thing while finishing with a bit of pepper, citrus pith, and a slight pine bitterness. Very interesting and fairly smooth and balanced brew right here! Nice feel and overall, a very unique offering from ZG. Cheers!!!
