This Italian pilsner gets its soft and aromatic malt quality from a terroir pilsner malt grown near the Adriatic Sea. The beautiful, honey malt character is balanced by a perfectly dry and slightly cooling finish. Italian for “afternoon snooze” Pisolino is just what you need to sail through the day.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a pint glass; no known birth date. Pours translucent yellow with noticeable carbonation and initial head. Crisp tasting with some malt character. Good.

A - Light gold pour with uber-thin lacing and delicate carbonation.
S - Light biscuity honey malt with just a touch of citrus earthiness.
T - Light biscuity malt up front and then comes a wave of earthiness with a little bit of bright citrus to scrub away the sweet malt.
M - Medium body with gentle carbonation.
O - Very drinkable but not memorable. (That's OK too.)

This is not a completely horrible attempt at making an American version of an elegant Italian dry-hopped Pilsner. It is lacking in several aspects though.
The pour is fantastic. Nice head, gorgeous rich golden unfiltered color.
The nose is meh. Not sure why. My nose is good.
The feel/body is really nice.
The taste is completely off though. Don't get me wrong, it's pleasant. But it is way sweet and almost citrusy. There is a very faint hop hint of presence. It HAS to be noble hoppy. Try an Italian Tipopils to see what I mean.
For a $20 per 4-pack, I'll stick with the original Italian Tipopils.
But a hat tip and a nod to Zero Gravity for trying. As a European Pilsner fan (specifically, Czech and Italian Pilsners), I really wanted to like this lager, but I won't be buying this brew again.

Nice, dry Pilsner without being too hoppy or astringent. Pairs perfectly with a couple of slices of some proper pizza, natch. This will be in rotation in my fridge for a while going forward.

It’s nice to see another Italian Pilsner. I know they’ve been a thing for a while, but I’m only recently starting to find them around me. I haven’t had much luck with Zero Gravity so far, but hopefully this is the beer that turns that around. Let’s crack it open and find out
Pours a cloudy yellow gold with 2 fingers of soapy white head that fades to a ring and leaves minimal lacing
The nose has a very strong citrusy vibe which works well with the underlying simple malt. I’m picking up on aromas of lemon juice, crackery malt, herbal hops, orange zest, honey, toasted grain, and light white pepper
It loses a bit of its bite in taste but it’s still pretty good. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting crackery malt, lemon zest, honey, baked bread, light floral hops, and apple skin. The swallow brings notes of honey, bready malt, floral hops, orange zest, light white pepper, and toasted grain
A light medium body pairs with moderate carbonation, resulting in a crisp beer. Finishes mostly dry and a bit sweet, but it’s damn refreshing
I’d say this is pretty solid overall. Nothing amazing but it goes down really easy

A: The beer is crystal clear yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a short white head that quickly died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of spicy hops are present in the nose along with notes of pilsner malts and hints of honey.
T: The taste follows the smell, except that the honey flavors are a touch stronger and those of the spicy hops are more subdued. There is a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and somewhat dry on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This Italian pilsner isn't nearly as dry as others in the style but still has a pleasant mouthfeel.

Well it pours a pretty cloudy yellowish straw color, vigorous bubbles form as it pours but they quickly diminish to a very thin layer of dirty white.
The nose is very pleasant; floral, earthy and herbal come to mind first a little sweetness hides behind that, reminds me of a very subtle lemon bread.
Hmmm the taste is not as welcoming and almost has a stale bread flavor going on. The hops come through on the finish but not nearly what I’d think from the nose. ***this beer is 5 months old and was sitting on a warm shelf I should’ve checked first I guess.
Mouthfeel is light to medium, nicely carbed while still being smooth. A low grassy bitterness shows on the finish, a touch of sweet.

Semi clear light amber appearance.
Medium carbonation with about a medium body.
Aroma is grain, cereal, malt, yeast, sweet bread, floral sweet honey
Taste has some very mild sweetness with a bit of an earthy hop bite in the finish as well as some grain and cereal.
A really nice beer that I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it.

Poured out of a 16 oz. can dated Nov. 2021. Sampled Dec 18, 2021.
Bright golden appearance with excellent clarity underneath as foamy, lingering white head. Looks like a pilsner should look.
Aroma of baked brown bread, biscuit, maybe brown sugar, and grassy sensations.
Light-medium mouthfeel.
The flavor is sweet with toasted bread to start and those malt characters continue to the crisp, clean, and dry finish. Likeable beer that represents the style well.
