My portion was poured into a tulip. The appearance was a ruddy burnt copper to amber color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a mild pace. Stringy lace. The aroma had some malty/grainy sweetness. Light pomme-fruits, some caramel tones with just a hint of some light Belgian spices. The flavor leans towards the malts. Hay/straw on my taste buds. Somewhat sweet with an odd grainy bite roaming into the aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Decent carbonation. ABV felt fine. Overall, odd sort of Belgian ale, maybe again, not sure.

a: pours an amber color with one finger high head.
s: it has a vary spicy smell with a nice malt smell to back it up
t: it has a malt taste with a mix of an yeast/ bready taste to go along with it. and a sweet mix
m: medium body with medium carbnaion.
d: diffrent than most belgian pale ales in the fact it was dark in color, and sweeter than i expected. but overall it was a good beer.

Pours a dark amber color with a one-finger head into my glass. Good presentation.
Aroma is full of clove and spice upfront, which is an interesting dynamic at play.
Taste is mainly clove and spice from the yeast. A bit chewy/grainy. As it warms up, the hops slowly make a presence if not much. Not overloaded though.
Mouthfeel has lingering spice, hops and bready malt.
It offers a more subtle approach to a belgian pale ale but as the description suggests, it throws in some amber ale characteristics as well. Just one quip: It's not strong enough to warrant the size of the glass (12oz).
