Gorgeous clear gold. Big creamy head from the fancy-ass tap at the brewpub. Wonderful service and environment. You literally couldn't do better. Aroma and flavor are just pure pilsner. Nothing much more to say. Enticing, refreshing, crisp, clean as a whistle. Spicy, grassy saaz character with a big (for this sort of beer ) malt character that blooms in the wake of each sip. But wasn't sipping. This is a quaffer if there ever was! Flavor is a bright hop splash a wee little bite and then a smooth lingering wave of rich, floor-malted Moravian malt. Dry but not thin and with a nice balance of sweetness, medium carbonation.
A very, very nice beer. Nothing flashy, just what it should be, presented nicely, in a nice environment.

White head with lace. Clear golden color.
Grassy, earthy, spicy hops. Nice bitterness. Clean, crisp, smooth. Biscuit and toasted crackers.
Great feel, light bodied, full flavored. This is great.
