Very clear light gold/amber appearance .
Medium carbonation with about the same for the body.
Aroma is yeast, grainy toast, cereal and an earthy hop element
Taste has a subdued sweetness that shows up immediately followed by grain, toasted grainy bread, cereal and an earthy hop bite that im not accustomed to in this style but totally works.
Overall a great take on the style.

Sampled at the brewery.
Pours a clear yellow with a fair head.
Smells a little biscuity.
Ok mouth feel. Good carbonation.
Tastes like a standard lager.
To me, nothing too special.

I'm really enjoying this beer. It's 'beer flavored beer', to steal a line from the Garage guys. Which means that most of the dudes who frequent this site won't like it since it's not 1,000% ABV and isn't flavored with cayenne, maple syrup, pineapple, bitter chocolate, old sneakers and cigar ash and doesn't require five years of aging in order to 'open up'. And it will fall into the adjunct lager category here because of the flaked corn in the mix, therefore automatic deductions from the insufferable beer snobs. Extra is clean throughout, no lingering 'sweetness' in fact the finish I found to be quite dry. For people who like fresh, well-made beer from one of the best independent breweries in America, this is your pour. Lager on!!!
