On tap at the source.
Pours a clear deep golden color with a creamy white head that slowly dissipates to a cap. Smells of sweet honey and grainy malt with a hint of corn and a solid earthy spicy hop presence to provide some backbone. Taste is grainy sweet malt with a hint of corn and a nice bit of spicy hop. Creamy smooth mouthfeel with a sweet mouthfeel and a spirited level of carbonation. This is a great cream ale and it led me to spend more time investigating their other beers than I think my wife had anticipated.

First had: on tap at Earth Bread + Brewery, Philly, PA
The fine folks from American Flatbread, Burlington, VT (one of my favorite pubs in the country) stopped by Earth Bread and left a few treats behind. I do love AF, and ZG beers, but this one was just not my style. Poured a golden honey color with a thin layer of white bubbles for a head. No real lacing or retention to speak of. Light aroma, grains and sweet malts. More of the same in the taste, pale malts, sweet, lightly toasted grains, mild hop spice. Light body, and fairly easy to drink, but not very big on flavor or charm.
