As per the brewery:
"Horizon and Pacific Jade hops supported by a blend of specialty malts. For dry hopping we used more Pacific Jade and Caliente hops."
Look: medium amber with a half-finger of loose suds that falls quickly. Minimal lacing.
Smell: sweet, caramel and nougat with a hint of clean grass.
Taste: more IPA- like than the aroma would indicate. Toffee-biscuit with herbal bitterness that builds. Clean finish, light pepper.
Mouthfeel: medium body, medium carb. Somewhat sticky.
Overall: ok, but pretty heavy-handed with the specialty malts and I'd like it to be cleaner/snappier to show off the hops better.
