This beer comes out of the bottle a somewhat light amber color, and as previously indicated, with very little head. Not overcarbonated (almost borderline for my tastes), the initial smell screams classic pale ale... light malty notes, almost deceptive with respect to the hops hit that your'e in store for.
Very bold, herbal, sharp hops flavor that lingers on the tongue for a long time, with the malt coming in ever so gently underneath it.
Overall a very plesant brew, quite nice in warmer weather.

Pozo is a little town here in California if you are wondering where the name comes from.

Pours a clear deep golden colored ale.

Smell is very malty with a toasted grain and biscuit scent and very fruity. The hops in this are herbal in nature and not citrus like most West Coast pale ales.

Taste is a little sweet but balanced out with a stout hopping bitterness. The flavor is a bit astringent but it is fruity too. Over all tasty yet not overpowering.

Mouthfeel is good.

Drinkability is good. This brew is always popular at the local Renaissance Fair. Tasty but is really quite a bit more like a Pilsner than an APA.

This arrived with a near-straw color with a small head that left some minor lacing.

Gentle hop flavors are all that came through in the faint but pleasant smell. The taste was good, with light malts apparent up front and followed by a mild touch of bitterness. The mouthfeel was a bit thin.

Just a little too light, this beer had a good combination of flavors.
