From the can, it pours a hazy darker amber color with a large (overly) off-white head that slowly reduces so you can finish pouring the beer. Scent is citrusy, with a bit of toasted wood coming through. Taste follows nose, with a smooth feeling, citrusy brew with a woodsy base. Slightly sour aftertaste to me.

Drinking this at the Duck Rabbit Brewery in Farmville NC.
Poured from a tap into a pint glass.
Appears amber, slightly hazy.
Smells citrusy, lightly bready.
Taste follows the nose, grapefruit and slightly boozy.
Mouth feel is creamy smooth and medium.
Overall, I didn't like the boozy thing, reminds me of a Imperial Voodoo Ranger, but I did like the mouth feel quite a bit. Probably wouldn't order again, as their malty beers are so good.

A: Pours a crystal clear deep copper in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising slowly from the bottom of the glass and moderate caramel + amber + dark golden yellow + burnt orange + brassy colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense foamy very light beige head that slowly reduces to a handful of small patches of thin film surrounded by a large patch of very thin film covering approximately 95% of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of cedar wood over the top of moderate aromas of citrus/grapefruit + tropical/mango + stone fruit/peach hops. There is a light to moderate aroma of biscuit + caramel + toasted malts with a light to moderate amount of caramel sweetness.
T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of biscuit + caramel + toasted malts with a light to moderate amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of cedar wood. Finally there are moderate flavors of citrus/grapefruit + tropical/mango + stone fruit/peach hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which fades away fairly quickly leaving lingering
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Light amounts of dryness in the finish.
O: Not the easiest drinking beer due to the heavy amount of wood/cedar flavor and aroma, more of a slow sipping beer though the alcohol is well hidden. A pleasant combonation of hop flavors and aromas though the wood/cedar overwhelms/dominates.

16oz can, tulip, the month of the canned on date is missing, it reads “/25/2019”.
The pour is hazy peach, the head is minimal in light tan, the hiss from the can was also minimal upon opening.
Peach, mango, cedar. There is definitely a sharp, deep woody aroma, but overall the aromas are subdued.
Slight sourness leads, which is out of place, before you taste a more typical sweet, fruity IPA. Flavors of mango, lime, and a little woody funk.
Medium body, low carbonation, slight acidity, and a funky finish.
This is a miss as Duck Rabbit’s first IPA. I don’t know if they got unlucky and it’s infected or if they just need practice.
