Appearance: Arrives with a clear amber color topped by an inch or so of foam; plenty of lacing clings to the pint glass as the beer is consumed
Smell: CItrusy and peppery hop tones waft above a hint of caramel
Taste: A little bit of caramel lays the foundation for a launch in the citrusy direction typical of Pacific Jade hops; by mid-palate, the spicy impact of the rye malt becomes clear, as well; the finish has plenty of citrus and peppery spice, as well
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: Well, Paul goes on Holiday and Duck-Rabbit brews its lightest colored beer yet - and it is a winner!
