Served On draft at Sams Quik Shop in Durham, NC
poured into a duck-rabbit pint glass
appearance is dark brown with no head whatsoever. smell is slight bourbon...mixed with the typical malt characteristic of the scotch style. taste is quite enjoyable. the bourbon is pronounced but not overwhelming by any means. alcohol is apparent but enjoyable. flavor is great if you like bourbon barrel aged beers. this version is quite a bit better than the normal wee-heavy from Duck-Rabbit. Mouthfeel is full bodied but not too thick, low carbonation.
Overall very enjoyable and one you should definitely try if you see it offered.
