Had on tap recently at the brewpub here in GSO.Poured into a standard pint glass a deep dark chestnut brown with a half finger lighter beige head atop that was gone pretty quickly.The German wheat yeast strain gives off a little smoke and alot of clove spice with the piney hops being more subdued than the yeast in my opinion.The hops are more assertive on the palate with alot of pine resin notes,the yeasty clove and mild banana flavors seem to balance out pretty well.Congrats to Natty's for trying something a little different,not something I would drink alot of but it's decent and creative.
