Had this on tap for it's final release at Stick & Stones in Greensboro. Came out a ruddy copper color with just a ring of foam around the edge on top. No lace present. Smells of fresh apples, some light barn funk, yeast, wisps of booze, cherries. Wow. The scent is wonderful on this beer.
The mouth is bit on the light side. Some light carbonation present on the tongue. This is fairly slick going down. The oak presence smooths this one just right. Tart apples right off the bat on this beer. Nothing puckering, just a light sour beer that is very pleasant. Mild sweetness on the finish of cherry cobbler. Hop bitteress is low. I could drink these all night. Too bad this was the final night of this beer. Here's hoping they bring it back one day.

Appearance: Arrives with a hazy copper color and a creamy head that drapes lace
Smell: Tart cherry and apple, with undlerlying oak elements
Taste: Opens with a tart cherry and apple flavor that is joined, almost immediately by sweet, jammy fruit and oaky dryness; after the swallow, the flavors blend together in a unique synergy
Mouthfeel: Medium body, with prickly carbonation
Drinkability: Just a superb, creative brew; unlike anything else in its sweet, tart balance

Had the chance to try pretty much the entire lineup from Natty Green's and I just do not pass up the opportunity to try these things.
Aged on Oak for over 2 years I found this gem on tap and made repeated trips back to it. Simply outstanding.
The pour was garnet in color with a thin wispy head that quickly retreated and left a touch of lacing that crept down the side of the glass as you went through the session. Enormous aroma of tart fruit, sugars, plums and raisins, amazingly complex with oak notes coming through with each passing moment that it warmed up. Amazing. The first sip was a work of art. Not puckering sour, but a subtle, slow builder. First sips are sour cherries and oak, subtle sugary sweetness starts to creep in now as well. Warmign really brings out notes of cherries and dark fruits, getting more and more tart with each sip. Finish smooth and mellow with a nice dry taste on the palate that really makes it flow wonderfully. No clue on the ABV but I had this next to La Folie and it held up well.
Overall wow. I was not expecting to see this one here, but I heard it did well up at Hickory this year and I could see why. Solid as hell.
