An oak aged double version of the Buckshot amber.Poured into a standard pint glass a clear lighter amber shade with a thinner but sustained off white head atop.Aromas were a little light with some caramel and faint vanilla mixed with some light grainy notes.Sweet caramel and toffee flavors dominate with some alcohol detected in the finish, the toffee flavors really show through nicely.A near English strong ale in character with it's big toffee notes this is a solid bigger offering from Natty's here in Greensboro.
